About Me

Hi, and welcome to my Website, The Healing Gardener. I am Nikki Cavanagh, an RHS qualified professional gardener and a full member of The Gardeners Guild.

I have an expert level of horticultural experience and love to help you make the most of the plot that you have. Be it small and intimate, wild and wonderful, to large and well groomed, I can offer you the help and expertise to bring the best out of your garden.

My ethos is to help not only your garden, but to help you enjoy your outdoor space. Be that by general maintenance, caring for treasured plants, adding new plants or simply weeding, with the right help, you can enjoy your space and take away the stress, giving you a healing space to relax and enjoy.

Services

General Garden Maintenance

Includes all over maintenance such as weeding. mowing, edging, pruning, clearing leaves and debris. Composting, mulching, tidying, digging, planting, watering and feeding. General lawn and pond care. Can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly or a one off visit. Everything is tailored to your requirements.

Specialised Pruning

I specialise in pruning, especially Roses. Also included are fruit bushes/small trees, shrubs, Wisteria, Climbers, and Topiary. Ask me about how I can help transform your established plants and bring them back to the right size and form.

Plant Advice and Care

Gardening is much more than weeding and tidying. In addition, gardens need to be grown and nurtured according to the conditions. For example, "Right plant, right place". Soil type, light levels, maintenance levels and much more.

I specialise in looking after the plants you already have and ensuring they are well cared for, or additionally I advise the plants to enhance and suit your garden.

You can arrange for the choosing, purchasing and planting of the right additions knowing they will be a lasting investment.

Consultancy and Advice

I offer a bespoke service whereby, I visit your garden and undertake a soil test, maintenance level requirements, light levels, right plant, right place and guide you on where and what to plant. This service can also include the purchasing, delivery and planting of chosen plants.

I will educate you on how to care for your existing garden and provide a seasonal care guidance advice plan.

Vouchers

You can purchase vouchers of my time for a gift. These are available through my website and include either a visit and training, surprise planting such as new containers/baskets or new plants in the garden. A great gift for those wishing to give a garden lover some genuine help and guidance or a treat for a loved one/friend who needs cheering up with some new bespoke additions to the garden. Or quite simply a garden makeover/tidy so they can avoid the weeding!
